Your support inbox, minus the pile
DeskCrew turns a support email address into a ticket queue: forward support@ once and every mail becomes a ticket with an owner, history, and threaded replies that land back in the customer’s inbox.

Why does a ticket queue beat a shared inbox?
What is actually answered
Every mail becomes a ticket with a status. Open means owed, resolved means done, and nothing depends on someone remembering to star a message.
Whose it is
Assignment and priorities mean two people never draft the same reply and no one assumes someone else has it. The full thread history rides along.
What keeps being asked
Repeat questions become knowledge-base articles, and those articles power AI answers in your chat widget, so the same question stops arriving by email at all.
Email support, asked and answered
How do I turn emails into support tickets?
Add a forwarding rule from your support address to your DeskCrew forwarding address (the dashboard shows it and walks through Gmail and Google Workspace). Every incoming mail becomes a ticket; replies go back on the same thread.
Do customers notice anything different?
No. They email the same address they always have and receive normal email replies, threaded correctly. The queue, owners, and history are your side of it.
Is this a shared-inbox alternative?
Yes, with tickets instead of a pile. A shared inbox tells you what arrived; a queue tells you what is answered, what is waiting, and whose it is. You also get the same knowledge base and AI that power the chat widget.
Is email-to-ticket free?
The widget, board, and help center are free forever. The email channel is part of the paid plans, from $29 a month flat for the workspace, and the 14-day trial includes it so you can test with your real address first.
Can I send from my own domain?
Yes. Verify your sending domain with two DNS records and replies come from your address, not a platform one. Until then, replies send from a neutral address with your workspace name.
