License & Account settings

SEOBetter > Settings opens on the License & Account tab. This is where you see your plan, your usage, and where you activate a license key.

Your plan and usage

The "Your plan & usage" card shows three meters:

• Sites: how many sites your plan allows and how many you've activated. Free covers 1 site.
• Cloud articles this month: what this shows depends on how you generate.
  • If you have your own AI key connected (BYOK), it shows your BYOK allowance instead, since you pay your provider directly and don't use cloud generation.
  • On free with no key, it shows how many of your 2 free cloud articles are left. This is a lifetime allowance, not monthly.
  • On paid plans it shows articles used against your monthly cloud cap (Pro is 50 per month).
• Cloud Credits: a planned way to buy extra generations beyond your monthly cap. The Buy Credits button is disabled for now; the feature isn't live yet.

Activating a license

If you bought Pro (or another paid plan), you got a license key by email.

1. Paste the key into the license field (it looks like SEOBETTER-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).
2. Click Activate.

The tier chip in the header changes from Free to your plan name, and Pro features unlock immediately.

To move your license to another site, click Deactivate here first, then activate on the new site.

The upgrade cards

Below the usage card, free users see cards for Pro ($39/mo), Pro+ ($69/mo), and Agency ($179/mo) with what each adds. Paid users only see the tiers above their own. These are just links to the pricing page; nothing on this tab charges you.

Setup wizard shortcut

The banner at the top of this tab has a "Launch setup wizard" button. It re-opens the same 5-step wizard from first install, which is handy if you skipped a step or moved to a new AI provider.
