How do I publish a generated article?

SEOBetter never publishes anything on its own. Generation ends with a draft that you review and publish yourself.

Step by step

  1. Generate the article. When it finishes, scroll through the results panel.
  2. Pick a headline. Five options appear as radio buttons, ranked by score. The first is pre-selected and recommended.
  3. In the "Save as" section, choose Post or Page from the dropdown.
  4. Click Save Draft. A confirmation appears with an edit link, plus a note showing where the schema went (your SEO plugin or SEOBetter itself).
  5. Click the edit link to open the draft in the WordPress editor.
  6. Read the article. Fix anything you would not say yourself. The SEOBetter panel in the sidebar shows the score and any remaining issues.
  7. Click Publish in the editor, the normal WordPress way.

What the saved draft contains

Headings, paragraphs, and lists save as normal editable blocks, so you can edit them like any post. Styled elements like the Key Takeaways box and tables save as HTML blocks that keep their design. The JSON-LD schema sits in a block at the end of the post. Leave that block in place.

Worth checking before you publish

  • Open the References section and click a couple of links
  • Check names, prices, and dates against your own knowledge
  • Set a featured image if your theme uses one (the free plan does not set a featured image for you)
