What Free includes
Free is free forever. It gives you:
- Article generation on your own AI key (bring-your-own-key). Connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, Moonshot AI (Kimi), OpenRouter, or Ollama key. Gemini and Groq have free tiers, so you can generate at $0. You pay your provider directly, typically $0.01 to $0.08 per article, and the key stays on your own WordPress site.
- Your first 30 articles per site are Cloud-assisted: SEOBetter's hosted service supplies the tuned writing prompt and your key writes the article. After that, the plugin's built-in engine writes new articles on your key, and the Generate page tells you when that switch has happened. Nothing stops.
- 3 content types: blog post, how-to and listicle.
- English, 6 countries: US, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland, with country-level localization.
- Both scores: the GEO score (0 to 100, how citable your article is for AI search) and the SEOBetter score.
