Internal links: orphan report and link suggestions
The Internal Links page (SEOBetter → Internal Links) has two tabs. The Orphan Pages tab is free. The Link Suggestions tab needs Pro+.
Orphan pages (free)
An orphan is a published post with zero internal links pointing to it. Orphans are harder for search engines to crawl and rarely rank, because no other page on your site vouches for them.
The scan runs automatically when you open the page. You see:
- How many orphans you have
- What percentage of your posts are orphaned
- A table of the orphan posts, sorted by GEO score
The sort matters: a high-scoring orphan is your best fix. It is good content that just needs links pointing at it.
To fix an orphan manually, open a related post and add a link to the orphan somewhere natural in the text.
Link suggestions (Pro+)
On Pro+, pick any post and the plugin ranks five inbound link opportunities. Each suggestion names a source post that should link to your target, plus suggested anchor text and a relevance score based on keyword overlap. You then open the source post and add the link yourself. There is also a matching panel inside the post editor that can insert the link into a paragraph for you, and you review before saving.
The plugin never adds links to your published content on its own.
