Upgrade or downgrade your plan

Manage your subscription from the Billing & usage page (/dashboard/billing). Upgrades run through a secure hosted checkout; interval switches, card changes and cancellations go through the billing portal linked from the same page.

Plans

• Free: the widget, ticketing, a public help centre, 10 AI answers a month, and a monthly conversation allowance. No card needed, no time limit.
• Pro: unlimited conversations, the full AI allowance, Slack and Discord, email-to-ticket, a custom help-centre domain, a send-from domain, white-label, webhooks.
• Team: everything in Pro with the larger AI allowance and more seats.
• Agency: full white-label branding and multi-client management for resellers.

Every plan's numbers on the pricing page and the billing page come from the same table the server enforces, so what you read is what you get.

The 7-day trial

Every new workspace starts with a 7-day trial of the full Team feature set, no card required. When the trial ends, the workspace moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: tickets, articles, your board and your history all stay.

What changes is that anything the trial switched on and Free does not include is paused, not removed. Each paused feature is named on its own settings card, with a Resume on Pro button:

• A connected Discord or Slack stops creating tickets and syncing replies.
• An email inbox stops turning messages into tickets.
• A custom help-centre domain stops serving (every page there returns 404 until you resume).
• A send-from domain, white-label and webhooks switch off.

Resume brings each one back exactly as you left it.

Keep the trial going

Two days before the trial ends, admins get a recap of what the trial did and two ways to keep it:

• Upgrade with 20% off your first 3 months. The discount is applied at checkout while the window is open (from two days before the trial ends until seven days after).
• Add a card, keep everything 14 more days. Pick Pro or Team; billing starts automatically after 14 days, and you get a reminder three days before the first charge. Cancel from Billing before then and the workspace moves to Free with nothing deleted. This card trial is available once per workspace.

Both buttons are on the Billing page and only appear when your workspace's dates make them valid.

Upgrade

1. Open Billing in your dashboard.
2. Pick Monthly or Annual (annual is two months free).
3. Click Upgrade to Pro or Upgrade to Team and complete the hosted checkout.
4. You return to DeskCrew and the plan updates as soon as the subscription is confirmed, usually within seconds.

Downgrade or switch interval

1. On Billing & usage, click Manage billing to open the billing portal.
2. Make the change there.

Changes take effect with proration; you keep the current plan's features until the paid period ends. When a paid plan ends, the same honest downgrade applies: paused features are named on their cards, and Resume brings them back.

AI allowance on Free

Free includes 10 AI answers a month. When they are used up, the widget suggests knowledge-base articles instead, every conversation still becomes a ticket, and the dashboard shows how many visitor questions went unanswered so you can decide whether Pro is worth it. A Free workspace with no activity for 30 days is treated as dormant and does not consume its allowance.
