Slack and Discord tickets are now on the free plan

Slack and Discord ticketing are now on the free plan. One connected Slack workspace and one connected Discord server per workspace, no card, no time limit.

What that means in practice

Messages in a channel you choose become tickets in your desk. Replies go back into the thread they came from, so the person who asked never has to leave Slack or Discord, and the whole history is in one place instead of scattered across a #support channel that scrolls away.

Nothing about the AI side changes: it drafts answers from your own help content, a person approves before anything sends, and unanswerable questions still go to a human rather than being guessed at.

Why we changed it

Until now these channels were on the paid plans. That was the wrong way round for a product whose whole point is meeting people where they already are. A team that has not yet paid is exactly the team that most needs its Slack support questions to stop vanishing, and it is the team best placed to tell us what is wrong. So the channel is free, and email-to-ticket, more AI answers and white-label are what the paid plans add.

Limits, stated plainly

One workspace and one server per DeskCrew workspace. Connecting a second Slack workspace replaces the first rather than adding to it. If you run several communities that each need their own connection, that is what the Team plan's multi-widget setup is for.

How to connect

In the dashboard, open Integrations, choose Slack or Discord, and authorise. Pick the channel that should create tickets. That is the whole setup; the first ticket usually arrives within the hour, because someone was already asking.
